Why do we work? We work to live, we work to eat, we work to support our families, we work to improve our country, we work to improve our economy or we just work to have fun.
Work is something very hard and finding it is much harder and specially when we are speaking in a country like ours, and I can’t be reasonable here, I mainly am talking about our beloved country and our faithful system, we grow on a culture based on how hard you can get a job, how hard you must study and spend out of your youth only to be able to find a suitable work that make you live fairly, how hard you will fight only to live and to let your family live in a standard you desire, so you go after a hard task in life, and because of this culture that you usually are placed in places that you don’t belong, doing what you didn’t want to do and trying to act as good as you can, only to pass in your daily work, you loose what creation is all about, you loose the simple doing what you like, just to be good in what you do, you loose your identity in the middle of this chaos, you loose your taste of life and the pleasure of enjoying and creating work, creating something to be remembered with one day.
So many arguments here , so many causes , and many will say that you can face it all over the world not only in your country , so much unemployment in many countries all over the world, I only wanted to go to the roots of this problem, what creates unskilled and uncreative employment? What creates unemployment?
People are running in their lives after fake targets and unreal goals, after things they don’t need, after fashions they don’t like, after a technology they can’t afford, even the poor ones, they lost their differentiation between what’s needed for living and what’s not needed at all.
You find a very poor guy putting his life in debts just to bring a mobile phone, others choose to buy a TV instead of a washing machine and so on, even much delicate people are driven after some silly fashion in clothes and jewellery they never needed or wanted and in the end no one is satisfied of his life and no one will ever be satisfied with this technology that replace everything in our lives.
A growing technology in many fields, an advanced technology beyond the normal uses tasks, a technology that forces us to do things we never did in our normal life, a technology that offers a luxurious life more than comfortable sometimes.
A luxury that runes and not help, people do more intellectual effort and less physical effort, and therefore every thing is deteriorating.
Health despite the progress in the medical and care field is deteriorating and even average human life is decreasing; Culture and knowledge despite the progress in media and internet and open libraries are deteriorating as long as the written papers, the art itself is out of creation in the last century all along with the industry advancement in Europe.
The technology offers everything to every one but it never brings nor time nor effort to follow it, and in the end we are exhausted, tired, hopeless and waiting for something unknown.
People should go back a step, they should let go this technology that surround everything, they should use only what they need from this technology, what is affordable for them and what helps and not runes.
This is why people amuse very much with camping, hiking, sailing and pick-nicks, they remember how simple their lives were, how clear their minds were, how you can sleep at night without worries or doubts, how technology suffocate us bit by bit and destroy our peace of mind.
